From an unoptimised account to a premium coffee benchmark on Amazon Spain.
Café Saula is a family-run coffee roastery founded in Barcelona in 1950 and a benchmark for quality coffee in Catalonia. In early 2019 they began selling on Amazon Spain, but without a clear strategy or technical optimisation.
In late 2019, our team joined the project with a twofold brief: to consolidate and scale the Amazon channel and to turn their own online shop (cafesaula.com, on PrestaShop) into a profitable channel. The result was growth of 654% on Amazon during 2020 versus 2019, and a +283% on their own online shop that same year.

Four pillars to transform the account and scale across Europe
We worked in parallel on the technical optimisation of the Amazon catalogue, the opening of new European markets, the growth of Saula's own online shop and the building of a complete digital ecosystem for customer acquisition and retention.
From Amazon Spain to 4 European marketplaces in a year
One of the most significant moves of 2020 was the coordinated launch of Amazon France, Amazon UK and the start of the process on Amazon Germany. Each market required content localisation, price adaptation, management of local tax obligations and specific launch campaigns.

Leader on Amazon Spain in ground coffee and whole-bean coffee
Today Café Saula ranks among the best-sellers on Amazon Spain in the Ground Coffee and Whole-Bean Coffee categories, an organic positioning achieved through listing SEO, advertising and review management. It is also featured in Amazon's curated "Spain at a Click" store, which brings together the best Spanish SME brands.
Numbers that speak for themselves
From a token channel to a strategic one: Amazon and the own online shop now account for 30% of Café Saula's total turnover.
